End of School Year Activities

The end of the school year is near.  However this year looks different from past years.  This year so many of us are teaching from home.  Many of us may not get to have those traditional end of the year events we usually have.  What can we do about that?

We can get sad and frustrated and maybe a little bit angry.  Heck, we can even have a pitty party, but then we need to get over it and realize we are all in this together and need to come up with a solution to make the end of the school year magical for our kiddos stuck at home. 

Here are some ideas for your last week or even just that last day.

This year I will be planning a digital celebration.  I will present their Kindergarten Completion Certificates during our Google meet.  I have put together a Slide show using PowerPoint.  Basically is is full of all the pictures i took through the year.  I'll Add their certificates to the PPT.

I also have End of the Year Awards.  These I printed and put in mhy students bags that they will pick up.

May 29th is our last Day.  Student will be able to come the first week of June to pick up belongings.  Hopefully teachers will be able to stand in doorways or windows to see them.  These are strange times.  

We will be doing a movie day, a virtual field trip, a scavenger hunt and the awards day.
